South Korea's Hansae invests $30 million to build a garment factory in Vietnam

Hansae Vietnam Co Ltd, a subsidiary of South Korean garment manufacturer Hansae. Construction of its third garment factory in the Tan Huong industrial zone in southern Tien Giang province has begun.

The factory, which will cost US$30 million to build, will produce ready-to-wear garments for export, with an annual production capacity of 30 million pieces.

In addition to the factory, Hansae also owns two garment factories in Vietnam, located in Ho Chi Minh City. Its garments are sold through Hansae Co Ltd, headquartered in South Korea, to its major customers including Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Gap, Sears, Nike. , Target, and Wal-Mart.

In addition to Hansae's production bases in Nicaragua, Guatemala and Indonesia, Vietnam is also one of its major overseas production bases.
