Changji: Cotton picking has basically ended in mid-October and the sale has also been completed. Local cotton farmers reported that the sales price started at 8.4-8.1 yuan/kg, and later at 7.8-7.5 yuan/kg.

Kuitun and Wusu: Cotton picking has basically been completed, leaving only scattered pieces not picked. Most cotton fields have already begun to turn the ground. There are still cotton traders and cotton farmers continuing to sell cotton.

Bole: About 70% of cotton picking is completed, the acquisition volume of cotton enterprises has reached the level of previous years, and even higher than in previous years, the average purchase price is 8.1 yuan/kg. Some cotton companies are afraid that the cotton purchased in the later stages, like last year, will not be able to fully pay for storage. The profit per ton of cotton that has been deposited is about 1,000 yuan, and most of the grades are three levels. The entire process is fast acquisition, fast processing, fast storage. The acquisition price of machine-picked cotton is 6.8-7.2 yuan/kg, because quality cannot be guaranteed, and most companies do not dare to accept it.

Bortala: Picking is nearing completion, more than 90% completed, and some large families have not been picked. It was about a month earlier than last year. This year's weather is good, and cotton is of good quality. In previous years, acquisitions generally continued until March and April of the following year, and the picking period and acquisition period this year were all faster than in previous years. The average purchase price was 8.1 yuan/kg. After this year's cotton enterprises have completed their deposits, they can face long holidays without worrying about the sale of cotton.

Karamay: Two-thirds of the picking is completed, and the harvesting machine basically finishes picking. Hand picking cotton is slower, mainly because it is not easy to pick flowers.
